The final trailer for Season 3 of the 「Squid Game" released by Netflix on the 14th threw 'Believe' again. However, this time, other people's faith in Sung Ki-hoon (Lee Jung-jae) is at the center.
The trailer compressed the key scenes and characters from seasons 1 through 3 in a short running time of 1 minute 58 seconds. It quickly recounts the scene where Ki-hoon, who fell into gambling, enters the game, the first meeting with dawn (Jeong Ho-yeon), Ali (Anupam Tripathi), and Sang-woo (Park Hae-soo), and the process of returning to the game and attempting a rebellion in season 2.
It is then implied that Ki-hoon, dressed in a suit, walks toward somewhere as if he were answering someone's call, and finally reunites with the frontman (Lee Byung-hun). This implies that the confrontation between faith and values predicted by director Hwang Dong-hyuk will unfold in earnest.
The second half of the trailer also included the first release of season 3. Cracks and divisions inside the game are predicted through scenes in which the soldier shoots at his superior, a black-clad agent, and Hyun-joo (Park Sung-hoon) pushes another participant in the maze.
Ki-hoon's emotional expression also deepens. At the end of season 2, Ki-hoon, who lost his friend Jung-bae and felt guilty, reveals his psychological pain through his lines with Geum-ja (Kang Ae-sim) in the trailer. "Do you think it's all your fault that's happened?", "Naughty people live comfortably blaming others, but good people collapse in guilt."The words of this writer lead to the question of whether Ki-hoon can still keep humanity.
The line "You're not that kind of person" left by the dawn of season 1 is added to this, suggesting that Ki-hoon is at a crossroads of choice again.
The Netflix series 'Squid Game 3' will be released on June 27.
