Fine, who can be called Ryu Seung-ryong, a sincere villain

It was possible because it was Ryu Seung-ryong.

Disney+'s original series 'Fine: The Mountaineers' is a gullible story of hard-working, subsistence villagers who flocked to take over a treasure ship buried under the sea in 1977. Starting with the first to third episodes of 'Fine: Villagers', which finally came off the veil on the 16th, Ryu Seung-ryong's passionate performance as the leader of action 'Oh Gwan-seok' caught the eyes of viewers at once.

In the episode released that day, the story began in earnest when he headed to Mokpo with his nephew Oh Hee-dong (Yang Se-jong) through a deal with Song (Kim Jong-soo). With Oh Gwan-seok entangled with various characters from all over the country, the scene facing Professor Kim (Kim Eui-sung) and the legendary 'Kun' on the sea road to Jeungdo completed a tense ending, amplifying expectations for the next development.

Ryu Seung-ryong left a strong impression from his first appearance, expressing Oh Kwan-seok's unique blunt tone, excellent situational judgment, and a cool-headed sense of reality. In particular, it brought the character to life by completing a new face of 'sincere villain' who silently goes his way, which is different from the existing 'villain' image. By carefully taking notes of his daily activities, he delicately expressed the thoroughness and persistence of Oh Gwan-seok, further enhancing the sense of reality of the character. In addition, when emotions became intense, acting that depicted the inner side of the character in detail induced deep immersion, such as calming oneself with laundry or showing ambitious eyes only in front of Oh Hee-dong.

As the episodes continue, the story becomes more complicated with the emergence of new characters, and expectations for the narrative of 'Oh Gwan-seok' that Ryu Seung-ryong will draw are also rising.

Meanwhile, 'Fine: Villagers' starring Ryu Seung-ryong consists of a total of 11 episodes and can be seen every Wednesday on Disney+.
