At the SBS new Friday-Saturday drama 'Tri: We Become a Miracle' (hereinafter 'Tri') production presentation held at SBS Hall in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 25th, Kim Yo-han expressed his feelings about playing the role of Yoon Sung-joon, captain of the rugby department.
Kim Yo-han is actually from a physical education high school and is also famous for having a taekwondo career. "It was difficult because it was an unfamiliar sport at first, but I was attracted to it because I had been training with my rugby team friends and real rugby players for three months before filming," he said. "It was attractive that all the team members had to stick to their roles to make one pass successful." he said.
In addition, he said of his collaboration with Yoon Kye-sang, "The characters in the play are contradictory, but Tiki-taka did so well on the actual shooting site. "The director and the staff created good energy, so I was able to have fun."," he said.
Kim Yo-han is determined to effectively imprint rugby on viewers with team play and energy. "Teamwork is an important sport and there is a sense of excitement that arises from the scenes that are encountered. Viewers will be able to fall in love even if they don't know the rules.'"I hope rugby will be recognized as a popular sport through dramas."," he added.
Meanwhile, 'Tri' is a sports growth drama in which the rugby department of Hanyang Sports High School meets Joo Kyung-ram (Yoon Gye-sang), the last-ranked player in the world, and challenges him to win the National Sports Festival. Yoon Sung-joon, played by Kim Yo-han, is a key character who leads the team as a captain of FM temperament.
