Actor Cho Jung-seok challenged the box office by proving once again the `Standard of Summer' through the movie 'Zombie Daughter'.
The press and distribution premiere of the movie Zombie Daughter was held at Megabox COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 21st. Actors Cho Jung-seok, Lee Jung-eun, Cho Yeo-jeong, Yoon Kyung-ho, Choi Yu-ri and Pilgam-sung attended the scene.
「Zombie Daughter」, which will be released on the 30th, is a comic drama about a father of a daughter who has entered top-secret training to protect her daughter, who became the last zombie in the world, and the director of 「Hostle」 took the megaphone.
The work is based on the popular webtoon of the same name by Lee Yun-chang, and is expected to have a high synchronicity between actors and characters among original fans. Director Phil commented on the directing process "Since the previous work was Cheongbul (youth viewing is not allowed), we had to control the level well." I wanted the audience to feel scared and thrilling when they saw the zombies for the first time. However, because it is a comedy genre, it was important to balance well and there were many things to pay attention to."
Cho Jung-seok played Jeong-hwan, a stupid daughter who became a zombie daughter trainer. He married singer Gummy in 2018 and has a daughter, and he is actually famous for being a daughter silly. Cho Jung-seok "When I first received the proposal, I was curiously a daughter's father. That's why I was able to get deeper into the story"I told the agency and the production company that I wanted to participate in the work, but it was a little misrepresented, so the article went out, "This is mine" (laughs). I was so immersed in a character named Lee Jung-hwan that I wondered if I could meet a work that I needed more than this," he said.

In particular, BoA's 'No.1' and 2NE1's 'I'm the best' were inserted into 'Zombie Daughter', drawing the audience's delight. Director Phil responded, `Both songs are my favorite songs. Unlike the exciting melody of 'No.1', I thought the sad lyrics touched the message of the work, and I really wanted to write the finger choreography". As for "I'm the Best" "I have to show the swag of the grandmothers in Mbong-ri, but there was no better song than this"In the amusement park scene where this god intersects, Sua is a zombie, but I wanted to convey the meaning of walking proudly."
Lee Jung-eun, who played Bamsoon, a grandmother who disciplines her zombie granddaughter, also made special efforts for the god. He watched a documentary of Chilgok mothers enjoying rap in the neighborhood"I thought about why the mothers came to enjoy rapping, but I think they unwrapped their resentment by writing and singing their stories with rapping. I don't think you just enjoyed drinking and singing. I danced more passionately, recalling the images of mothers living with heartache. But no matter how hard you dance, you'll get a trot vibe."

Cho Yo-jung, who plays the role of the nation's official zombie Hunter Yeonhwa, shared her feelings about reuniting with Lee Jung-eun after six years following the movie Parasite. He "The scene couldn't help but be bad. Yeonhwa appears later than other characters, and she filmed the scene of eating tteokbokki (with Lee Jung-eun) while filming in front of her. Maybe because we were so close, it felt like we went to my sister's house and ate tteokbokki. I was on a diet at the time, but I filmed it so comfortably that I ate a lot of tteokbokki (laughs). The production team gave me a paper cup to spit out the tteokbokki, but there was nothing to spit out, he said with a smile.

Yoon Kyung-ho plays the role of Dong-bae, Jeong-hwan's hometown friend and assistant. He was greatly loved by the public through his previous work 'Severe Trauma Center' was good, but on the other hand, he had a lot of worries about how to continue his next work. Of course, our film was filmed before the release of 'Severe Trauma Center', and it was at a different temperature when we worked on it. 'Zombie Daughter' is pleasant and warm. Although it is not possible to quantify the difference in the temperature of laughter between the two works, this work is as good as this work, and it was healed while filming. Isn't 'Zombie Daughter' like a fairy tale village story. I was happy to live in the village," he said.
Yoon Kyung-ho played a doctor in the `Severe Trauma Center' and then a pharmacist character in `Zombie Daughter.' He said, "Pharmacist and doctor were jobs that I could never have imagined when I was young, and I never went anywhere near them." He said, "It was virtual, but I was happy, because they were acting that my parents would like." expressed satisfaction.

Choi Yu-ri, who played Su-ah, the last zombie left in the world, said, `It was an honor to work with my respected seniors"Thank you so much for being nice to me on the set."," he said in greeting. When asked what he thought his loved one would be like when he turned into a zombie, he said "Even if a loved one becomes a zombie like his father (Cho Jung-seok), I think he will try to return it to its original state without seeing that it has changed."
Finally, Yoon Kyung-ho performed a pleasant acrostic poem of 'Zombie Daughter' in hopes of a success. He is "Some." Help 'Zombie Daughter' fly, daughter, rattle!," he said tactfully, drawing enthusiastic cheers and applause.
