‘Beyond The Bar’ Leads Weekend Minis at 7.5% With Episode 5

JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Squire: Lawyers Dreaming of becoming a Lawyer' continued its upward trend with the weekend's top mini-series ratings. The fifth episode, which aired on the 16th, ranked first in the Seoul metropolitan area with 7.5 percent and 7.2 percent nationwide (based on Nielsen Korea).

The center of the broadcast was the first solo defense of new lawyer Kang Hyo-min (Jeong Chae-yeon). Kang Hyo-min, who came to the defense of an amateur painter who was framed as a "plagiarist" to a world-class artist, took on a reckless challenge with a week of preparation and no experience. He asked for help, but team leader Yoon Seok-hoon (Lee Jin-wook) drew the line coldly, saying, `Take care of yourself.' However, behind the scenes, he spared no support for taking care of the mock arguments himself and reviewing the script.

In the end, Kang Hyo-min, who stood in court, was reeling from the opposition lawyer's push, and even his client uttered the words "Imitated" under pressure, deepening his defeat.

But the twist here was Lee Jin-wook's advice. Kang Hyo-min, who recalled "Look at the essence of the case", drew a sincere conversation by matching the eye level with a client with a disability. As a result, the secret of 'the father's face in the work' hidden by the client was revealed, and the case was overturned in its entirety. The court quickly turned into a chaos when the innocent act of a big artist was revealed.

Kang Hyo-min, who won the first solo defense, will hear the title of Lawyer Kang Hyo-min for the first time from Lee Jin-wook. It was the "official recognition" of Lee Jin-wook, who had maintained a cool head toward his juniors, saying, "Be worthy of the name of Esquire." Kang Hyomin said, "I'll do my bestHe answered with the answer ", and the strange resonance between the teacher and the student made the viewers moved.
