Director Yeon Sang-ho's 200 million ultra-low-budget movie worries about what if it's Fuji

Director Yeon Sang-ho said, `I was worried about low-budget movies, but a better way of doing them was completed.'

On the morning of the 22nd, a press conference was held at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University branch in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the production of the mystery film 'Face' (directed by Yeon Sang-ho and produced by Wow Point). The production briefing session was attended by Park Jung-min, who played two roles including Lim Young-kyu's young age and his son Lim Dong-hwan, and Kwon Hae-hyo, who played the present role of Lim Young-kyu, Shin Hyun-bin, who has never seen the face of her husband Lim Young-kyu and her son Dong-hwan, Lim Sung-jae, the president of the Cheonggyecheon sheath factory where Jung Young-hee worked, Han Ji-hyun, who directed a documentary about the life of Lim Dong-hwan, and director Yeon Sang-ho.

Director Yeon Sang-ho said, `It was the driving force of my movie life that I wanted to make a movie with a new soul. A new body was needed to have a new soul. I came to make a movie in a completely different way than I've ever done before. There was also fear. I was also worried that the movie was too much 'What if it lagged?' First of all, worrying itself was an obstacle to diversification. From that, I tried to shake my fear. As I gathered with my team and actors, the fear disappeared. It was changed to the idea that a better way of film would be completed. Even if they shoot a blockbuster, production costs have always been pursued. Paradoxically, however, he filmed 'face' most comfortably while filming it. Korean theaters are said to be difficult, but I think it's a little different. The theater seems to be in a period of change now. Wouldn't the change make another movie? I think we can enjoy the movie"I was sure.

Formally invited to the 50th Toronto International Film Festival Special Presentation Section, 'Face' tells the story of a blind but reborn man, a master of all fields, and his son digging into the mystery of the death of his wife and mother, who have been buried for 40 years. Park Jung-min, Kwon Hae-hyo, Shin Hyun-bin, Lim Sung-jae, and Han Ji-hyun appeared, and Yeon Sang-ho, director of 'Train to Busan'Ban Peninsula', took the megaphone. It will be released on September 11.
