Disney + the original series 『Fine』, which ended on the 13th, is a story of gullible and hard-working mountaineers who flocked to take over a treasure ship buried in the sea in 1977. Director Kang Yoon-sung, who directed the series 'Casino' and the movie 'Crime City', and author Yoon Tae-ho of the webtoon 'Insiders' and 'Misaeng' gathered expectations.
Director Kang said, "It was my first time playing the series when I was playing the casino, so I felt a lot lacking in many ways. On the other hand, 'Fine: Villains' seems to have prepared in advance and worked on it much more fully knowing the shortcomings felt in the previous workWhen "'Casino' production schedule was so tight that I felt pressure. There were many external difficulties because we filmed overseas during the Corona period. This time, the process was easier by interacting with the actors and working with them."
In particular, director Kang finished filming by reducing the 122nd episode of the first planned 'Fine: Villagers' to 99th episode. In response, he said "Our staff tends to proceed quickly. We shot 8.5 episodes in a month for 'Casino', and this time we finished the 11th episode with 99 episodes, so we shot about 9.X episodes a month. The reason why I originally set more than 120 episodes is that there are many underwater and special shots. However, the underwater and special filming proceeded more smoothly than I thought, so it didn't take long, and I was able to finish the shooting appropriately."
In addition, MBC currently broadcasts 'Casino' every Sunday at 10 p.m. Director Kang responded, "'Casino' was actually released two years ago, and I think it's a great opportunity to meet you at MBC. I hope many viewers watch it. Even my parents didn't see the work, but they liked it when I heard that it was being aired on MBC. I'm glad that it was an opportunity to see it like that."
