Kim Ji-hoon → Kim Tae-hee's appearance on Amazon series Butterfly will be released on tvN on the 22nd

Amazon's Prime Video Series 'Butterfly' will find domestic viewers on tvN.

Butterfly is a spy thriller series based on the graphic novel of the same name, about a mysterious former U.S. intelligence agent David Chung (Daniel Da Kim) and an incumbent agent Rebecca (Rayna Hardisty) sent to kill him.

'Butterfly' draws attention as a work with a special relationship with Korea. First, Korean-American actor Daniel Dae-Kim will produce and star. Ken Woodruff, who participated in 'Mentalist' and 'Gotham', and Steph Cha, a Korean-American writer who won the LA Times Mystery and Thriller category for a novel written in 2019, are co-producers and showrunners. In addition, since David Chung appears in the play as a former U.S. spy who lives in Korea and lives disconnected from the world, filming was also conducted in Korea, including Seoul and Busan. As a result, Daniel Dae-Kim was appointed as an honorary citizen of Seoul and drew attention.

Above all, it draws more attention because it is a work with Korean actors. As top stars such as Kim Ji-hoon, Park Hae-soo, Kim Tae-hee, Sung Dong-il, and Lee Il-hwa are known to have entered Hollywood, they have drawn a lot of attention since the production. The trailer video released earlier also shows them, adding to expectations for 'Butterfly'.

Today (5th), a domestic poster of 'Butterfly' was released on tvN SNS. Daniel Dae-Kim and Raina Hardisti, who will perform enthusiastically as former and incumbent agents in the play, are pointing guns with sharp eyes. In addition, the design that reflects the Korean alphabet 'butteri' on the existing poster also attracts attention.

Starting from the 22nd on tvN, 'Butterfly' will air every Friday and Saturday at 10:40 p.m.
