The 30th Busan International Film Festival has signed an official sponsorship agreement with Hyundai Motor Group brand Genesis, continuing its partnership for nine consecutive years.

The 30th Busan International Film Festival - Genesis Sponsorship Agreement Ceremony was held at Hyundai Motor's headquarters in Gangnam-daero, Seoul on the 7th, attended by major film festival officials such as Park Kwang-soo, chairman of the Busan International Film Festival, Vice President Chung Yoo-seok, head of Hyundai Motor's domestic business division, Cho Won-sang, head of the domestic product marketing division, and Lee Chul-min, head of the domestic marketing division.

The Busan International Film Festival is Asia's largest film festival, which marks its 30th anniversary this year, starting with the first festival in 1996, and is contributing greatly to the growth and discovery of Asian films along with the Tokyo International Film Festival and the Hong Kong International Film Festival.




Genesis has been sponsoring the Busan International Film Festival since 2017 under the common brand orientation of promoting the aesthetics of Korea and Asia to the world and contributing to the development of the community.

Genesis will provide more than 100 protocol vehicles and film festival donations, including G90, GV80 Black, and GV70 electrified models, during the 30th Busan International Film Festival in September. In addition, it plans to operate Genesis brand exhibition booths and various experience programs.
