The main characters who led the heyday of KBS weekend dramas are reunited with 'Gorgeous Days'. On top of that, Jung Il-woo and Jeong In-sun are also raising expectations by challenging KBS weekend dramas for the first time.
The press conference for KBS2's new weekend drama `The Brilliant Days' was held at the St. D-Cube City in Guro-gu, Seoul on the 6th. Actors Jung Il-woo, Jeong In-sun, Yoon Hyun-min, Cheon Ho-jin, Lee Tae-ran, Shin Soo-hyun, Sang-yeon, Park Jung-yeon and Kim Hyung-seok attended the scene.
There are days when every human being is gorgeous. Whether now, in the past, or in the future. It is a family melodrama story about the colorful days that meet in different meanings, and the writer So Hyun-kyung and director Kim Hyung-seok of 'My Golden Life' joined forces for the second time.
Director Kim, who directed the drama, said, `Our drama is a sincere traditional drama. It is a drama with all the warmth, tears, and affection. The reason why I did this work is because I respect and trust So Hyun-kyung so much. From the time the script came out until now, I thought about how to melt the writer's delicate script into the work. I'm acting every time," he said.

Jeong Il-woo returned to the small screen in three years with the ENA drama `Good Job' and the `Graceful Days.' He said "Before '5 Eagle brothers, please!Isn't ' loved by many people and recorded high ratings. Rather, I am more grateful than burdened. We also hope to receive good energy and continue the baton. After the drama 'Please Take Care of My Lady', I came back to KBS for the first time in 16 years, and I had a great desire for acting because it was my first return to the small screen in three years."
Jeong Il-woo, who played Lee Ji-hyuk, a deputy of a comprehensive architectural subsidiary, said "I think it's a valuable opportunity because So Hyun-kyung gave me a good suggestion after the drama '49 Days" and is filming with all his life and death. I think the synchro rate has risen a lot as we are adjusting to the character Lee Ji-hyuk that the writer and director thought of. Now I'm acting completely like Jihyuk. Jeong In-sun played as cafe manager and interior designer Ji Eun-oh. He is a typical candy character. Viewers will probably think that after watching the first broadcast. But I'm trying to make another character while discussing with the director so that it doesn't look too typical. I will show you candy that goes beyond the typical one that I will never see again in my life."
"Fortunately, I met two wonderful brothers and am having fun filming with Jung Il-woo and Yoon Hyun-min." My brothers teased me a lot on the set, so I'm playing the role of 'Thorn Meat' (laughs). On the contrary, my brothers feel more friendly because they teased me a lot. I'm glad that this chemistry seems to be buried between the scenes."

Yoon Hyun-min, who plays Park Sung-jae, the third generation of chaebol and Ji-hyuk's best friend, said, `I worked with Il-woo for the first time through this work.' `Since the two are best friends, we spent a lot of time eating together before filming so as not to feel awkward. Thankfully, from the first shooting, the director said, "You look like a real friend."," he said.
Regarding the part focused on acting, he said, "Seongjae seems to be perfect in everything, but he has a human appearance and a lot of loneliness behind him. He worked hard not to be seen as an obvious chaebol character.", he explained.

Chun Ho-jin played the role of Lee Sang-chul, Ji-hyuk's father in the play, heralding a father-son relationship with Jeong Il-woo. Cheon Ho-jin said "I'm a very blessed actor. The characteristics of the seniors and juniors who work together are so good. I don't have a good personality, but all the people around me are good. When I met Ilwoo for the first time, I was comfortable because he approached me first"I thanked him.
After hearing this, Jung Il-woo also came to think a lot about the relationship between me and my father while preparing for acting with my senior. He is also the eldest son in his work, and he is also the eldest son at home. I talked to Cheon Ho-jin first because I wanted to get closer to him on the set, but I was grateful for his quick opening and acting advice. I'm learning a lot thanks to your good leadership."
In addition, Lee Tae-ran played Park Jin-seok's remarried wife, Young-ra's mother Ko Sung-hee, and Shin Soo-hyun played Ji-hyuk's youngest sister and fashion creator Lee Soo-bin. Ahn Sang-yeon plays Ji-hyuk's younger brother, Young-ra's driver and bodyguard Lee Ji-wan, and Park Jung-yeon plays Sung-jae's younger brother and new artist Park Young-ra.

Finally, regarding the target audience, director Kim said, `I want to break the ratings recorded in the previous work, but the reality is not easy. It's a lie to say that you don't care about it, and the target audience rating is 30%. It might be empty words later, but I'll work hard with that determination. I'll do my best to make sure that viewers see it and think it's a good drama," he said.
Meanwhile, KBS2's new weekend drama `The Brilliant Days' will premiere at 8 p.m. on the 9th.
