Netflix held a press conference for the new Netflix series 'Wendday Season 2' at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 11th. Director Tim Burton, Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers attended the event.
Jenna Ortega wrote "I don't think it's good to watch movies or dramas as a competition. I'm glad that I can do such a TV show and that Korean fans watch it. Just like many people who grew up in California, it's good that you watch this series all over the world. I think it's good to be able to empathize with people all over the world, not that figures are important. Season 2 is an episode in which the 6th episode, which will be in Part 2, is centered on Enid, and Emma loves Korean culture so much that she will like it with Korean songs in it. I hope you can watch it."
Manager Tim Burton said, `It was fun and happy that season one was successful. Now, I'm glad that people around the world have seen our painstaking work. I don't think it's a competition at all. I think what people like is taste."
'Wendday' caused a worldwide syndrome by accumulating 1.7 billion hours of viewing and ranking No. 1 in Netflix's Global Top 10 TV (English), but it is also an unfortunate work that did not rank No. 1 in Korea. For the success in Korea, coach Tim Burton, Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers met Korean fans in person in Korea.
'Wendday2' is a Netflix series about Wednesday Adams, who returns to Nevermore Academy for the new semester, as he faces a more chilling and bizarre mystery surrounding him, searching for the truth behind it. "Wendday2" released Part 1 on the 6th and will release Part 2 on September 3rd.
