Genie TV held a production presentation for the new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Good Woman Buscemi' (played by Hyun Kyu-ri, directed by Park Yoo-young) at CGV Yeongdeungpo in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 22nd. Director Park Yoo-young, Jeon Yeo-bin, Jinyoung, Seo Hyun-woo, Jang Yoon-ju and Joo Hyun-young attended the event.
When Jeon Yeo-bin first read the work 'Good Woman Buscemi', there is a so-called 'Golden spoon' and 'Dirt spoon' on the log line. For Young-ran, who lives as a dirt spoon, there was a nuance that you deserve to be happy as you are. It shook my heart and I liked the writing so much that I took a note and tore it apart and pasted it on my blackboard. But I remember that director Park Yoo-young, who directed 『Ghost Day』, directed a drama that was so complete, genre-oriented, and emotional. I thought, 'Why don't you meet the director?' The actor's desire to do it so badly was revealed without refinement. And Kim Young-ran, a friend who had no hope, met a new life called Buscemi, and this friend faced an opportunity to change something. I think I was greedy because it was a character that could be seen dramatically and could express two things externally as an actor"I didn't even think it would be my first time playing the title roll. I also felt like I was going to meet a good character, but when I heard about this, other people wrote 'Titlol'. I thought it was a place to be more responsible, but I don't think I thought that because everyone had such a great sense of responsibility in the field. "Good Woman Buscemi" is a crime romance in which a female bodyguard with a dirt spoon who dreamed of a three-month countdown until the reset of her life and a contract marriage with a time-limited chaebol chairman has to change her status and survive for three months to avoid those seeking a huge inheritance. Director Park Yoo-young, who directed `Ghost Day" and writer Hyun Gyu-ri, who won the Daejong Award for Best Playwright for the film `Owl, joined forces. In addition, Jeon Yeo-bin will transform into Kim Young-ran, who listens to unexpected offers from chaebol chairman Ko Sung-ho (Moon Sung-geun) while living a low life, and will play an active role in the center of the play.
'Good Woman Buscemi' will premiere at 10 p.m. on the 29th.
