Joo Hyun-young plays Baek Hye-ji, who works at the caustic group owner's house, in the original Genie TV "Good Woman Buscemi" (scripted by Hyun Gyu-ri, director Park Yoo-young), which will be released for the first time on the 29th.
"Good Woman Buscemi" is a crime romance drama in which a female bodyguard with a dirt spoon who dreams of a life reset and a contract marriage with a time-limited chaebol chairman has to change his status and survive for three months to avoid those seeking a huge inheritance. Jeon Yeo-bin (played by Kim Young-ran), Jin-young (played by Jeon Dong-min), Seo Hyun-woo (played by Lee Don), and Jang Yoon-joo (played by Ga Sun-young) are drawing attention.
In the play, Baek Hye-ji (Joo Hyun-young) is a housekeeper working at a caustic group mansion and one of the few people who is close to Kim Young-ran (Jeon Yeo-bin). Even though he disarms the other party with his unique slick and unadorned appearance, he shows an unknown attitude, making everyone nervous with his actions that he doesn't know where he will go. In particular, Baek Hye-ji's unexpected moves encourage curiosity as she works in a mansion of one of the country's leading groups who have to be careful about all their words and actions.
In the released photo, Baek Hye-ji attracts attention as she travels throughout the mansion while maintaining a calm and strangely cold atmosphere. Above all, the unknown gaze left a deep impression, and Baek Hye-ji's performance is more expected.
In the meantime, Joo Hyun-young has appeared in various dramas and movies and demonstrated a wide range of genres, from comic to horror, and is curious about the new transformation she will show through the character Baek Hye-ji.
Meanwhile, Genie TV's original 'Good Woman Buscemi' will premiere on channel ENA at 10 p.m. on the 29th. Every Monday and Tuesday, immediately after 10 p.m., it will be released exclusively on KT Genie TV with free VOD, and OTT will be released on TVing.
