Cha Tae-hyun expressed his sincere intention that it would not be awkward even if he was called the judge of tears at the production presentation.

On the morning of the 23rd, SBS Hall on the 13th floor of SBS in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, held a production presentation for SBS' new music audition 'Our Ballad'. Producer Jeong Ik-seung, director Jeong Jae-hyung, Cha Tae-hyun, Jeon Hyun-moo, Danny Koo, Crush, and Jung Seung-hwan attended to talk about the program.

'Our Ballad' is a musical audition that recreates life ballads that encompass generations with new voices. It tries to differentiate itself from existing auditions by participating in voting directly by 150 men and women of all ages and determining the results. SBS, SM Entertainment, and SM C&C collaborated to produce a large project-like scale.

At the production presentation, Cha Tae-hyun opened his mouth with an awkward smile about the tear scene in the pre-released video. He said "I was a little embarrassed that the video was unintentionally released"But at that moment, I meant it. I couldn't help but cry watching the participants' performance."

He then confessed that when he first encountered the plan, he was ahead of the doubt. Cha Tae-hyun said "Honestly "Is it going to be fun? Will a lot of people watch it?I thought '" "But when I heard that it was a 2-hour, 40-minute program, 'Isn't this a gamble?' I thought so." Then "When I started filming, such worries were overshadowed. There was no time to get bored as the participants' performances approached sincerely," he stressed.

In particular, it was said that the participants' clumsy but honest performance made them tear up. He said "Sometimes awkward spots impress you""From young participants to college students and young people, they were pouring out their stories on stage, but at that moment, there was a resonance beyond just music.", he explained.

Lastly, he said, "The weather has gotten cooler, but I think it would be good to share the moment when I get emotional listening to ballads with my family."I hope the production team's gamblers will be the winning player. I'll do my best in every episode"He expressed his determination.

Meanwhile, 'Our Ballad' will premiere at 9 p.m. on the 23rd, and the first broadcast will run for 160 minutes in a special expanded program.
