'Our Ballad' is a musical audition that recreates life ballads that encompass generations with new voices. It tries to differentiate itself from existing auditions by participating in voting directly by 150 men and women of all ages and determining the results. SBS, SM Entertainment, and SM C&C collaborated to produce a large project-like scale.
"I remember being on the stage of an audition program when I was 19 years old and a senior in high school," Jung Seung-hwan said. "I was moved to see myself overlapping when I was sitting on the jury in this program."
He "Actually, I had a lot of worries about whether it would be right to evaluate someone's performance. I also thought, 'Do I really deserve that?' and "But as the seniors said, as a person of 'Top Baekgui', I also feel a little less burdened by thinking about it as a place to share my impressions and thoughts."
Jung said he recalled his passion and desperation in the past while watching the participants on stage. "I saw the moments I had forgotten in the eyes of the participants again. At that time, I was at a loss and desperate, but when I saw my friends standing on the stage with the same heart, I felt heartbroken"I was greatly stimulated not only by music but also by passion itself."He confessed.
In particular, he confessed that there was a moment when young participants stole tears on the stage. "Some stages were clumsy and clumsy, but they resonated more. I felt comforted watching the participants sing with all their heart," he said.
Meanwhile, 'Our Ballad' will premiere at 9 p.m. on the 23rd, and the first broadcast will run for 160 minutes in a special expanded program.
