Disney+ held a production presentation for the new original series 'Takryu' (written by Chun Sung-il, directed by Chu Chang-min) at a hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 23rd. The event was attended by Ro Woon, Shin Ye-eun, Park Seo-ham, Park Ji-hwan, Choi Gui-hwa, Kim Dong-won and Choo Chang-min.
"'Takryu' is an action drama about the fate of those who dreamed differently to turn the chaotic world around the Gyeonggang River where all the money and supplies of Joseon gathered and live like a human being. Director Chu Chang-min, who attracted 10 million viewers with the movie 「Gwanghae, Man Who Became King」, chose 'Takryu' as his first series director, and Chun Sung-il, the writer of 'Chuno', is raising expectations as he is in charge of writing a historical drama series for the first time in 14 years. Ro-yoon plays Jang Si-yul, Shin Ye-eun plays Choi Eun, a merchant who leads the top of Joseon, and Park Seo-ham challenges historical dramas by playing Jeong Cheon, a grape official. Park Seo-ham plays Walfa Mudeok as Lee Dol-gae, the center of the corruption of the grape office, and Kim Dong-won plays Wang Hae, a mysterious figure.
Director Choo Chang-min, who directed the movie, said, `Existing historical dramas dealt with kings, aristocrats, and aristocrats, but when I saw Chun Sung-il's writings, I was most attracted to the stories of the lower classes. It was most attractive to deal with the walpae that lived in the Han River and made the case.'

On top of that, it is Ro Woon who even created a sweaty makeup as if it were real. It's a realistic set that you put as much effort into as makeup. 'Turbul' embodies Mapo-naru as if it were real, raising the sense of reality. Director Chu Chang-min said "It is difficult to implement space, but it was not easy to film with water. It was difficult to say that the water level was high and low, so I thought about building an indoor space and CG processing in advance, and as a result, it seems like a good choice to build a space in Sangju and process only the extended part with CG."
Rowoon "Our work has very few indoor sets and there are about 98% open sets. The night lights are really pretty, so I recommend you to turn off the lights. And what was comfortable while acting in Sangju was that the set itself was realistic, so I think it was a scene where we could say that our scene was really good and comfortable wherever we went"The director also pointed out the parts where the props were not suitable for the times or were likely to cloud the atmosphere while watching the mise-en-scène, so I was able to concentrate more on acting."

'Turbul' is a work planned for a total of 9 times, but it can also be expanded. Director Chu said, `I think it's a story that can be expanded enough, but I'm not talking about it with the back in mind. "Personally, I think that greed can be expanded as much as possible if people like it from Part 1 to Part 9 and want to hear more stories."
'Turbulent' will be released on Disney+ on the 26th.
