Actors Park Geun-hyung, Jang Yong, and Seo Jae-jung deliver laughter and emotion to the audience of all generations with the movie 'People and Meat'.
The press and distribution premiere of the movie 'People and Meat' was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 23rd. Park Geun-hyung, Jang Yong, Jesus Jung and Yang Jong-hyun attended the scene.
Released on October 7, 『People and Meat』 is a story of a pleasant life in which three elderly people who happen to be united go out to eat meat for free and have a delicious life adventure, and director Yang Jong-hyun took the megaphone.
Prior to its release, "People and Meat" was officially invited to today's Panorama section of the 30th Busan International Film Festival's Korean Film Festival, which opened on the 17th and met with the audience. Director Yang said, `I've been attending the festival as a visitor for 30 years, and I walked on the red carpet with teachers for the first time.' `I walked with a blank expression because I thought I should not wave or laugh, but I still can't get rid of my excitement.'
Jang Yong then said "It was my first time at the Busan International Film Festival, and it was fun." "I was happier because I thought there were so many people who liked movies." Park Geun-hyung was also happy to enter the festival because it was a large film festival in Korea and well-known worldwide. Above all, it was good because the audience responded well. I was impressed when I went again this time following the last (movie 'picnic'). I hope that many of these things will happen to me in the future."

Park Geun-hyung plays the role of Romantic Grandpa Hyeong-jun, the leader of the three elderly men. In the tight life of picking up waste paper, he played the role of a romantic grandmother who does not lose her leisure and laughter, perfectly expressing the emotions of the character. When he first read the scenario, he said, `When I first read the scenario, the loneliness of the elderly touched my heart. Their loneliness is far from the lively situation they were in when they were young. "In the movie, three elderly people joined forces and started as if they were playing around at the age of 7 and 8, and through that, they feel alive. It was also good to socially resolve the dissatisfaction after committing a non-recursive crime and being punished, and it was also good to have a scene where they communicate and get close to each other without revealing the past. Even though the three people were in different situations, there were many things that touched my heart. The solitude of Hyeong-jun, who had a bad temper when he was young, was probably enormous when he was left alone. I wanted to capture how Hyeongjun felt when he met the elderly and met the world again", he explained.
Then, about the most memorable behind-the-scenes filming "There were many scenes of eating meat, but there were not many delicious scenes (laughs). In particular, Seo-jung burned so much meat that bacon did not have such bacon. The meat was very hard, so it was very uncomfortable when I ate it. I want to tell you to cook well"I shuddered.

The role of Woo-sik, an emotional grandmother, played Jang Yong, Korea's representative national father, and played a quirky yet pleasant character. The role of Hwajin in 'Charisma Cool Grandmother' is played by Yoo Soo-jung, who portrays a self-portrait of the old age of the present age. Jang Yong read the script for the first time and simply thought 'It's funny' No-nonsense is not trying to justify criminal acts, but rather, `How much the elderly wanted to eat meat.' Maybe the writer wanted to feed these old people meat (laughs). Everyone has no money, but they want to eat meat, and it was really good to see each other getting closer while researching how to get out of this situation safely. So I decided to appear. However, it's not in the movie, but I hesitated a little (laughs) because my character in the scenario says 'Dry Usyk with the cart." I don't think I'm skinny. I told director Yang 'I was wrong', and he said there was a way. He said, "I joined Woo-sik because he wanted to make it look like puffy flesh, not just fat."

"When I saw the scenario of the work, I felt 'Oh, it's so good' as I watched one scene. Park Geun-hyung's friend decides to starve herself and ends her life. "Since I got gray hair, I've been curious about the way I end my life. There are many ways to stop life-sustaining treatment, and the method shown in this work was the method we heard from our ancestors before. I've heard that if you cut off the grain for a week, you can go to the cleanest place without harming many people, but it's so humorous in this scenario. I thought it would be nice to participate in the work with just this one scene," he said.

Finally, director Yang said, `Unauthoric is not an interesting topic to tell a story in a thriller or crime genre. Rather than focusing on radio eating, I started with the story of three elderly people. 'They want to eat meat, but they don't have money. When I think about what to do to eat, I want to put a scene where I sprint like young people at least once. Instead, I wanted to raise social alarm by showing them paying the price to send a message that they shouldn't eat radio"I hope the movie doesn't reach the audience arrogant and obsequious. I hope you'll draw me calmly," he said of the wind.
