Im Yoon-ah is receiving enthusiastic acclaim for her role as French chef Yeon Ji-young who met the king, the worst tyrant and absolute taste holder, by time-sliping into the past at the best moment in tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty' (directed by Jang Tae-yu).
Yeon Ji-young, who received a confession from Lee Hun (Lee Chae-min) in the 11th episode, tried to push her mind because she was a person who had to leave, but eventually became aware of her heart and delivered her promise to return to Lee Hun's side, moving viewers.
However, the shocking truth that the concubines, including Inju the Great Daebi (Seo Yi-sook), drove Lee Heon's mother to death was revealed at the later Jinchan meeting, and Yeon Ji-young raised tension by holding her with a desperate appeal, reminding her of her promise to be a good king, not a tyrant, to prevent Lee Heon, who was on the verge of a runaway.
In addition, Yeon Ji-young prepared Seoksu-ra to help Lee Heon and King Inju reconcile by determining to change history, but she was caught up in an unexpected kidnapping and fell into despair while running away with the help of Gong Gil (Lee Joo-an), raising questions about the final episode to the peak.
Lim Yoon-ah helped those who saw her with her meticulous expressive power and explosive passion that did not waste a single breath fully enter the heart of the character, and in particular, she drew attention by unfolding her complex inner side widely and elaborately from Yeon Ji-young's confused mind, which she tried to suppress, to the desperate moment when she stopped Lee Heon, who was moving toward a tyrant.
Meanwhile, the final episode of "Chef of the Tyrant" will air on tvN at 9:10 p.m. on the 28th.
