Director Yoon Ga-eun talked about the process of capturing the love stories of teenagers in the movie 「The Master of the World」.

Director Yoon Ga-eun met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 20th and said, `It seems that the period of dating and sexual experiences among teenagers has become faster than before```````````````.

Released on the 22nd, 『The Master of the World』 is a story between an insider and an attention seeker, an unknown 18-year-old high school girl owner begins to receive mysterious notes after rejecting a signature campaign involving all students alone. Director Yoon Ga-eun of 『Us』 and 『Our House" grabbed a megaphone.




Director Yoon met with the audience in six years with the movie Master of the World after the movie 'My House' which was released in 2019. In response, director Yoon "I was into mannerism on my own. I want to send a message in a new way, but I thought I didn't know the movie too much"I've been doing movies from a first-person perspective and I like them, but the more I look at the theme of this movie, the more I wonder if it's right to see them from a first-person perspective. It also made me think a lot about whether this story is a personal tragedy," he said.

Director Yoon talked about the sex and love stories of teenagers in his book "The Master of the World". He said "There was a flood of data related to this. So many friends are posting a lot of sexual concerns online. In fact, the more I did face-to-face research through teachers and teenagers, the more I felt that I had become an old person. Maybe the culture has changed, but the period of dating and sexual experience has become faster than before. On the other hand, I thought there was a lack of channels for adults to know about the culture and to let students have good experiences. From friends who really don't know anything to friends who have experienced everything, the range is so wide that I can't get an average."

The behind-the-scenes filming of the kiss scene between the owner (Seo Soo-bin) and Chan-woo (Kim Ye-chang) in the play was also reported. Director Yoon said, `My face turned red even when I wrote the script myself. When I propose to the actors to play this role, I think I will go to the level shown in the scenario, and I will film it realistically, so I should be prepared for this part as well. I asked them to consider that, but both actors were willing to say okay. Then, when the three sat together, they panicked. We decided to call it 'Action God' among ourselves. I didn't know what to do when I made the movie, so I kept talking with the two actors. Then, while conducting a reference survey and briefing, they openly talked about how the touch proceeded and how far it was acceptable. In this way, it became comfortable after opening the story several times in great detail. It was difficult to film on the spot, but I tried to go as short as possible. In fact, when filming the kiss scene, only the director was inside, and the rest of the staff were outside. I blocked everything because it should feel like a space between the two of us."
