In the 9th episode of '100 Memories', which aired on the 11th, the tension reached its peak as the three people's mixed emotions exploded in earnest. The ratings were 5.5 percent nationwide and 5.6 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area (based on Nielsen Korea's paid households).
Young-rye (Kim Da-mi), Jong-hee (Shin Ye-eun), and Jae-pil (Heo Nam-jun) had an unexpected reunion at the hospital. Jong-hee was admitted to the VIP room due to the disturbance of Mi-sook (Seo Jae-hee), who ran after hearing the news of her foster daughter's injury, and Young-rye confided to Jae-pil as if explaining the meeting at the hair salon. Jae-pil passed it calmly, but Yeong-rye was shaken by a relationship that was entangled again like fate.
Jae-pil briefly went back to the old days by handing Jong-hee pork cutlet with special memories, and the three spent time together at a snack bar, laughing and talking as if they had gone back to the past. But this happiness didn't last long. As Mi-sook tracked down Jong-hee's activities and pushed her, Jong-hee exploded her pent-up emotions and eventually developed a shocking situation in which her face was scratched by a rose thorn. Jong-hee, who was wandering the night streets with heavy rain, burst into tears in Jae-pil's arms.
Yeongrye's heart was mixed up when she witnessed it. Encouraged by Jae-pil's comfort, Jong-hee decided not to hide her feelings, and visited a school full of memories of the past three and told Young-rye "I want to do well again. You're going to help me, right?," he said in a frank manner.
Yeongrye, who was silent for a while, confessed that even for me, Jaepil was my first love. I meant I wouldn't hide it anymore. As two friends who were bound by friendship expressed their feelings toward the same person, a completely different situation unfolded seven years ago. The two hearts, which were tightly confronted between love and friendship, created a strange tension.
But their story was only just the beginning. An ominous shadow hung over the reappearance of the labor manager (Park Ji-hwan), who shook the lives of the two in the past. He has lived with anger and vengeance with one arm lost, staring at Jong-hee in the old picture and laughing in the gutter like this?," he recited. His appearance foreshadowed a storm in the future.
