The 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony was held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the 19th.
This year's Best Supporting Actor Award went to Lee Seong-min of 'I can't help it. Lee Sung-min played the role of Bummo in the play, and was evaluated as maximizing the sense of reality of the play by harmonizing his unique life acting and detailed emotional lines. He won the trophy after fierce competition with powerful candidates such as `Zombie Daughter' Yoon Kyung-ho,"Harbin"Park Jung-min,"Park Sung-chul' and"Face"Kwon Hae-hyo.
Lee Seong-min "I didn't expect it. I didn't think so. I always come and clap my hands on fire. I thought about whether I should prepare an award speech if I become a candidate, but I couldn't do it this time. It was a role I couldn't receive, but thank you so much for giving me this award. The best supporting actress award went to Park Ji-hyun. Park Ji-hyun was praised for raising the tension of the play by convincingly embodying the cold and solid inner Mi-Joo character with delicate facial expressions and accurate dialogue tones. Park Ji-hyun said, `I didn't expect to win the prize. Thank you to the seniors who acted with the director who entrusted the character. When I first came to Cheongryong, I was busy looking at my seniors, but it's like a festival to receive an award like this. I will work harder and try to win more awards in the future."
The 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards will be presented by actors Han Ji-min and Lee Je-hoon following last year, and will present a total of 18 categories, including the most spectator awards and the Cheongjeongwon Popular Star Award, for Korean films released in domestic theaters and OTT from October 11, 2024 to October 7, 2025.
