The 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony was held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the 19th.
This year's Best New Actress category includes Kim Min-ju, Kim Min-ju, Roh Yoon-seo, Lee Sun-bin, Hong Ye-ji, and Kim Do-yeon, who won the final trophy with five actors competing fiercely, including `Cheongseol'Kim Min-ju, 'Cheongseol's Family' Hong Ye-ji, and `Ameba Girls' School Ghost Story: The Anniversary of the School'.
Kim Do-yeon left a strong impression in 'Amoeba Girls and School Ghost Stories: The Day of the School' by deeply portraying the emotions of the characters with concentration and expressiveness that are not new to them. He has shown stable acting skills in a genre that is a mixture of horror and growth narratives and has been considered the most notable newcomer among film officials.
Kim Do-yeon said, `First of all, I would like to thank director Kim Min-ha for making a lovely and energetic movie. Loveliness has always given me strength. I had to film for a very short time in winter, but I would like to thank the staff, the actors, and the audience for always making a good atmosphere with a smile. I also want to thank the acting teacher for letting me know acting and for giving me strength when I don't trust myself. I'm also grateful to my beloved family. I am so happy to be born as a mother, father, and daughter. I want to say thank you to the family members of the agency who always work hard and take care of me.
Then "I made my first debut as an idol, and there were many fans who liked singing and dancing on stage. I want to thank the fans for always supporting my acting. I didn't try to put much meaning on receiving the award, but now that I receive it, I think it will be a great help as I act with a feeling of 'I want to be recognized'. Thank you so much. I will be an actor who thinks and thinks more while not hesitating in the future."
Meanwhile, the Blue Dragon Film Awards, which marks its 46th anniversary this year, is the most prestigious award ceremony in Korea, where Korean filmmakers and fans come together to celebrate the achievements of Korean films over the past year.
