'The People Upstairs’ Premiere to Hold Moment of Silence for Late Actor Lee Soon-Jae

The comedy film 'The People Upstairs' (Director Jungwoo Ha, produced by Sidus and Workhouse Company) will convey his heart in memory of the sad news of 'National Actor' Lee Soon-jae.

'People Upstairs' will be released for the first time in Korea at 2 p.m. on the 25th at Megabox COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Gong Hyo-jin, Kim Dong-wook and Lee Ha-nee, as well as Jungwoo Ha, who served as directors, will attend the premiere on this day.

Upon hearing the news of Lee Soon-jae's death in the early morning of the day, "People Upstairs" considered discussing the progress of the event, including the premiere, but instead of canceling the event as the release is imminent, they will have a time to mourn and pray for the deceased's repose. 'People Upstairs' is in a situation where the premiere cannot be canceled suddenly due to various problems through Sports Chosun. Instead, we plan to hold a moment of mourning with a silent tribute to the deceased before the press conference proceeds."

'People Upstairs' is a story about a couple upstairs and a couple downstairs having a night's dinner together due to the noise between floors every night. Jungwoo Ha, Gong Hyo-jin, Kim Dong-wook, and Lee Ha-nui appeared, and it is Jungwoo Ha's fourth directorial production after 'Roller Coaster'Huh Sam-gwan''Robbie'. It will be released on December 3rd.
