One day, if you get imprisoned for being falsely accused. Ji Chang-wook's action with the resentment of the injustice came.
Disney+ pre-released a total of four episodes from the 1st to the 4th episodes to the reporters ahead of the release of the new original series 'Sharp Doshi' (played by Oh Sang-ho and directed by Park Shin-woo and Kim Chang-joo). In a 12-episode series, 'Scarving Dorsey' is an action drama in which Taejung (Ji Chang-wook), who lived a normal life, is caught up in an unjustly heinous crime and goes to prison one day, and executes revenge against him when he learns that everything was planned by Johan (Do Kyung-soo). Until the fourth episode, which was first revealed to reporters, it tells the story of five years in which Taejung dreams of revenge after being imprisoned under false accusations.
Taejung, who is living a life beyond ordinary to the extent that he is sincere and good young man, does not just spend every minute or second, but all for delivery and plant cultivation. He even listens to what's going on around him and emphasizes his goodness by showing him living by doing good deeds. In the meantime, he picked up a cell phone that was on the flower bed, and the owner of the cell phone brought the cell phone to the place he wanted, but it became shackled and he was framed for murder. Taejung, whose fate was completely changed by the police who suddenly came in, fell into endless frustration as his life collapsed at one point.
In situations where it is useless to refute, all of Taejung's hopes disappear as his younger brother makes a tragic choice, and Taejung also tries to give up his life, but Yongsik (Kim Jong-soo), a lifesaver, appears, giving him the strength to endure a hellish prison life. However, Taejung meets a new inspector who has gone through exactly the same thing as him and realizes that his life is 'piece' and pledges revenge. As a result, he is seen training to train his body and hone his martial arts while living in prison, and duels to distinguish between ranks are constantly appearing in the prison. Even leading to external pressure to kill Taejung, the desperate action of blood splashing continues, and Taejung's eyes that dream of revenge against the man who carved his life continue to shine, adding to questions about future developments.
Although Taejung, who has a near-perfect plan, tries to escape from prison, he does not succeed until the fourth episode. On the contrary, there are only more life-threatening events. On top of that, only the inmates who caused problems at the end of the fourth inning were imprisoned separately by the call of John (Do Kyung-soo), signaling that their duel would continue further. It predicts that the game of risking life will be played in this private prison close to the lawless zone. All the inmates even appeared in prison uniforms with large numbers written on the back, reminding them of the life-threatening `Squid Game.'
'Scarving City' is a work that tells the story of Ji Chang-wook, and it drew attention from episodes 1 to 4 by closely depicting how a sincere young man Ji Chang-wook was falsely accused and planned revenge. Here, Ji Chang-wook made his deep heart count only with his eyes and actions without many lines, and made viewers perfectly move into the womb. Johan, played by Do Kyung-soo, would have been easier if his physical conditions were better, but Do Kyung-soo is trying to overcome the limitations by actively utilizing tools such as looking down at Ji Chang-wook from a high place or going up on the table and looking down on his opponent. Johan is a villain who feels like a less grown-up teenager, and he deliberately used a slurring tone of speech, but it remains to be seen whether it is an intention or a matter of diction. Do Kyung-soo's first attempt at a villain role through 'Scarving City'. It depends on his performance in the mid-to-late part whether he will be able to get a passing score in the villain role through 'Scarved City', which has shown a somewhat correct appearance so far.
Although it is simply a world view sharing, we should be wary of the slow progress of the story when a two-hour movie is transformed into a 12-hour series. Attention is focusing on what variations will be able to catch viewers' eyes in the remaining 8th episode of 'Scarving City', which captured the fight in the prison throughout the 4th episode. 'Scarving City' will release four episodes on the afternoon of the 5th, followed by two episodes every week.
