MBC's new drama 「Fifies Professional」, which is scheduled to air in the first half of 2026, is a story in which three men who look normal but fly a little bit are moved again by fate, and it is a salty action comedy of real professionals who have run 50% of their lives, despite being beaten by the world and rusty in their bodies. Three men, each of whom made a name in the best position, will be demoted to Yeongseon Island, a remote island, after the "Event of the Day", and will laughably tell the story of finding the "Truth of the Day", which has been put on hold for 10 years.
Director Han Dong-hwa, who directed the 'Bad Guys' series, '38 Scam Dongdae', which was noted for its differentiated genre, to the 'Navillera' and 'Hyeongsa-rok' series, grabbed a megaphone and Shin Ha-kyun, Oh Jung-se, and Heo Sung-tae joined forces to complete a strong lineup even by name, raising expectations. Shin Ha-gyun plays 'Jung Ho-myeong', who was the No. 1 Black agent of the NIS in the past. Actor Shin Ha-kyun, who does not need any more modifiers to be called the god of acting, such as dramas 'Thank you', 'Villain Biography', 'Yonder', and 'Monster', has a strong trust in the character of Jung Ho-myeong to be made.
Oh Jung-se plays the role of a North Korean special operative who lost his memory. The Jesun was North Korea's best human weapon called 'immortal' in the past, but during the operation, he was attacked by an unexpected accident and washed up on Yeongseon Island. After that, he suffers from the confusion of identity and the boss's power trip, and finds lost memories. Oh Jung-se, who dominated the screen and the small screen with her unlimited acting skills, is drawing attention to what kind of life character she will give birth to this time.
Heo Seong-tae plays 'Kang Beom-ryong', who became the owner of a convenience store from a legendary gangster. Beomryong was the second-in-command of the volcano group, but when the organization broke down due to an incident, he came to Yeongdo Island after chasing 'object' and the name of his brother, and he has a grand plan to return everything to its original state by doing the jade of his eldest brother. The human acting transformation of Heo Sung-tae, who gave off a heavy presence in various works, is depicted, raising expectations.
Like this, '50%' will provide thrilling fun with the secret double life of three men who buried their deadly past for a while. In particular, the intertwined interests and confrontation between Jung Ho-myeong, Bong Je-soon and Kang Bum-ryong are meeting with the acting of the three actors, heralding even more spectacular synergy, raising viewers' expectations to the maximum.
