In the seventh episode, which aired on the 4th, 2049 viewership recorded 1.3% in the first part and 1.6% in the second part, ranking first and second overall among all genre programs at the same time. As a result, 'Our Ballad' has set a new record of being No. 1 in entertainment on Tuesday for seven consecutive weeks. (Based on Nielsen Korea's metropolitan area)
On this day's broadcast, a third-round duet competition was held consisting of the top 100 ballad charts loved by Koreans. Choi Eun-bin and Kim Yoon interpreted Deulgukhwa 'That's My World' with a different sensibility, winning a ticket to the semi-final. Unlike the original song, the two overturned the audition scene by winning an explosive 99 votes with their soft and delicate vocals. Judge Jeon Hyun-moo praised it, saying, "'A stage that will be a turning point in life.'" Cha Tae-hyun applauded, saying, "'A 100-point stage.'"
In the third round duet match, only the song name was matched without team information, leading to an unpredictable big match. Lee Ji-hoon and Kang Ji-yeon, who are the same age as 18, showed off their fresh chemistry by performing a duet between men and women with Shin Sung-woo 'Seoshi', and received favorable reviews from judges such as Jung Seung-hwan and Park Kyung-rim.
In the second round, a one-on-one match between Lee Joon-seok, Kim Soo-min, Lee Seo-young and Lee Min-ji was held, and Lee Ye-ji, Jung Ji-woong, Hong Seung-min, and Jeremy joined through additional acceptance votes, and a total of 17 people advanced to the third round.
In particular, the ballad TOP 100 chart, which was loved by Koreans only in our ballad, proved the sincerity and effort of the production team, leading viewers to sympathize throughout the broadcast. The real charm of the ballad genre was followed by moving stages enjoyed by all ages from teenagers to 60s, and dominated Tuesday.
Every Tuesday at 9 p.m., you can check out Korea's best emotional ballad performance on SBS 'Our Ballad'.
