i-dle Unveils 8th Mini Album ‘We Are’

The agency Cube Entertainment released a poster of its mini 8th album 'We are' on its official SNS channel (Mi-yeon, Min-ni, Soyeon, Yu-ki, and Shuhua) on the 6th.
The poster caught the eye with its unique design, where symbols symbolizing children on a simple white background create the word 'We are'. The symbol, which is made in the form of a star with five i's, means that five members of each unique child come together and are reborn as one unified child. These symbols were intertwined to form the album name 'We are', adding meaning.
Children's 8th mini-album 'We are' is more than a god in about 10 months since the 7th mini-album 'I SWAY' released last year. The kids have been performing the I-series since their debut in 2018, starting with their first mini album 'I am'. In the meantime, if the I-series has emphasized the identity of each member, 'We are' contains the message that the five members are born as one and a stronger team.
Earlier in January, Minnie released her first solo album 'HER', and Yuqi released a digital single 'Radio (Dum-Dum)' to be certified as Chinese QQ Music 'Triple Gold'. Mi-yeon made a hot splash in the region, topping the Korean chart of NetEase Cloud Music with 'Glow Up' in collaboration with Chinese artist Jike Junyi. As the members were loved for their solo albums and songs this year, expectations are growing for the mini 8th album 'We Are', which will come back as a whole.
Idle's 8th mini album 'We are' will be released on various domestic and international music sites at 6 p.m. on the 19th.
