QQMusic announced on its official Weibo account on the 5th that it will open the Weverse DM service by forming a strategic alliance with global superfan platform Weverse. Weverse DM will be installed as an in-app service on the QQ music platform and will start its official service on the 18th.
QQ Music is China's largest music streaming platform operated by Tencent Music Entertainment (TME). With the service of Weverse DM through QQ Music, it is expected that the convenience of using Weverse by local fandom in China, the expansion of artist fandom, and the expansion of Weverse's user will all accelerate.
Weverse DM is a chat service where fans and artists can communicate intimately, and artists such as actors Byun Woo-suk and Lee Chae-min, as well as musicians in Weverse such as Tomorrow X Together and Le Seraphim, are actively used as communication channels with fans. The advantage of Weverse DM is that it is automatically translated into 14 languages so that overseas fans such as China can conveniently communicate directly with artists.
