RIIZE Proves ‘Global Top Tier’ Status with Chart-Topping Debut Album ‘Odyssey’

Group RIIZE proves the aspect of 'Global Top Tier'.

RIIZE released its first full-length album 'Odyssey' on the 19th. The title song 'Fly Up' was ranked No. 3 on Melon Top 100 and No. 1 on Hot 100, as well as a number of songs on the Melon chart. It also swept to the top of the real-time Bugs chart and the Vibe surge chart, showing unusual music power for a boy group.

The album also proved its powerful firepower by topping the daily Hanteo Chart, topping the China QQ Music digital album sales chart and platinum certification, and topping the real-time AWA real-time surge chart in Japan.

Usually, music charts are interpreted as an indicator of popularity, and album sales are interpreted as an indicator of the size of fandom. So girl groups have been stronger on music charts than albums, and boy groups have been stronger on music charts than music charts. However, Rise stood as a top tier group that has captured both popularity and core fandom by hitting not only the music charts but also the music charts in early summer, which is known as the "Girl Group Season".

With this momentum, Rise will be released on Mnet Digital Studio M2 YouTube channel at 9 p.m. on the 21st, Mnet 'M Countdown' on the 22nd, KBS2 'Music Bank' on the 23rd, MBC 'Show on the 24th! On the 25th, he will appear on SBS 'Inkigayo' to present a stage of 'Fly Up'.

'Fly Up' is a dance song reminiscent of rock 'n' roll style, in which energetic rhythms and scale quire harmonize, and Rise gradually approaches and enjoys with many people in the wider world without prejudice or boundaries through music and dance.

The performance was produced by world-class choreographer Nick Beth, popular choreographer Choi Young-joon, and dance crew Chillit. In addition to characterizing and colorful formation for each member like 'Youth Musical', it added charm with a point movement that seemed to leap toward the sky by spreading both arms like the lyrics 'Fly Up'.
