As a result of Sports Chosun coverage, Whee In recently signed an exclusive contract with With Us Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as With Us), and is expected to speed up her full-fledged solo career.
Whee In made her debut in the group Mamamoo in 2014 and contributed to the team's heyday with numerous hits such as 'Mr. Ambiguous', 'Um Oh Aye', 'You're Anything', 'Decalcomani', 'If I Were to Say It As Me' and 'Hip'.
Above all, it was called 'Vocal Master' for its unique emotional tone even in group activities. In 2017, he showed his solo presence by topping the Melon and Gaon weekly charts by singing all the songs of Jung-ki 'I feel pressured', and the following year, he became a full-fledged solo artist and achieved chart results such as 'Feat. Sik-K' and 'Let's Break Up (Prod. Jung-ki').
Since then, he has firmly established himself as a solo artist through his first mini album 'Red' in 2021 and his second mini album 'Whi' in 2022. In particular, he proved his achievement by winning his first solo music program trophy with the title song of his second mini album 'Mysterious', and dominated the playlists of drama fans with the OST of the drama 'Wise Doctor Life', 'Thirteen, 9'.
He has consistently met with music fans, including his first full-length album 'In the Mood' in 2023, last year's single 'Hui' and 'Coco Water' and released 'Promise Three Wings'. Last year's solo concert was successfully completed, and until recently, he has been busy traveling between the university festival stage and overseas performances.
As such, Whee In has been considered a 'big fish' in the FA market. Whee In also ended her contract with her agency The Live last year, "I'm a free spirit because I'm an FA now. Thankfully, there are many agencies that contacted us, so the industry's attention was hot enough to directly mention it.
Now Whee In prepares for a new emergency by joining hands with With Us. With Us is a comprehensive entertainment company that includes Apink members Park Cho-long, Yoon Bo-mi, Kim Nam-ju, Oh Ha-young, and 5th generation boy group The Wind, and has built trust in the industry with careful artist care and stable management systems. In addition, with its trend-leading music planning ability and solid global network, it supports a wide range of domestic and foreign activities of its artists and has established itself as a "growth-type enterprise".
Expectations are high on what kind of music synergy Whee In will show by further expanding her solo career at With Us.
