NCT Dream held a meeting of its 5th regular album 'Go Back to the Future' at Lotte Cinema World Tower Film Theater in Songpa, Seoul on the 14th and said, `I remember the trip Mark went with before he returned to the team.'
It is the first time in about eight months that NCT Dream has made a comeback in the music industry since its fourth full-length album 'Dreamscape' in November last year. In particular, it opened the album's activities with the fourth tour 'The Dream Show 4: Dream the Future' at Gocheok Sky Dome from the 10th to the 12th, and the meaning is different from the beginning.
The album 'Go Back to the Future' tells the story of a curious eccentric NCT dream who travels through time to find the brightest appearance of 'I', and depicts various events and emotions experienced across the past, present, and future on a time machine that he accidentally discovered. Using the hoverboard performance of the debut song 'Chu Ying Gum', the time machine was expressed as a hoverboard.
Then, I was proud of this album as a narrative restaurant to the extent that I wondered if there was a team with a narrative that was as delicious as Dream. As NCT Dream is in its 10th year, there was so much to talk about through time travel. Whether it was a hoverboard or pajama costume, there were many iconic things. We prepared while immersed in it because we could capture the mature side of the album in one completed album, while continuing to take positive messages and aspirations to give healing."
In a month, it will be the 9th anniversary of its debut. Ji Sung is grateful to have been with fans for 9 years and to have worked with the members. I am proud to be able to have a concert at Gocheok Dome even though it is the 9th anniversary. In the second half of the year, he said, "I'm busy and I think I'll be able to show a lot of good performances." and Haechan laughed, saying, "We're about to celebrate our 9th anniversary, but our passion is fresh and it's like 9 days after our debut."
I also looked back on the most meaningful time. Renjun once went out to hang out with us before the album was released. At that time, I made up my mind to work hard together. I think it meant a lot then. We talked each other's thoughts and played the recreation game that I prepared." Jeno said, "It's the first full-length album after Mark's return, so I wanted to show a solid side, so I went on that trip. I think my heart is more united when I go back." he recalled the time.
He also defined what kind of team he has grown into. Haechan "I imagined it would be fancy and cool. Of course, it seems to have been achieved a little, but I felt that we were giving more energy and comfort to more people than we thought. I thought this was more valuable than the fancy and cool part. I like it because it seems to have grown in a better direction than I imagined it would be."
Mark said, "I had a dream after debuting as a minor, and I want to keep my early dreams and achieve them. I want to keep this dream even though the format is different" he said.
NCT Dream's 5th full-length album 'Go Back to the Future' will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on July 14, and will also be released as an album on the same day.
