Black Pink boasted overwhelming popularity by successfully hosting a pop-up store in China.

According to YG Entertainment, Blackpink has been meeting fans by opening 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR POP-UP STORE' at large shopping malls in downtown areas with a large floating population in five major cities in China, starting with Shanghai on the 2nd, Shenzhen, Wuhan and Chengdu on the 3rd, and Beijing on the 5th.

In particular, the Shanghai pop-up is the largest of the five cities in a 500㎡ space on the first floor of a complex shopping mall 'Jingan Tawiecheng (?城, JOY CITY)'. Despite receiving advance reservations and allowing entry to 1,500 people a day in preparation for the first weekend of the opening, it received explosive attention, with additional on-site waiting people flocking.

Even during weekday operating hours, various fans, including students, from all ages, visit. Wuhan and Chengdu pop-ups, which did not enter reservations, are so crowded that queues extend beyond department stores to the outside.

While concert MDs, official goods, and albums are on display and sale, various product lines such as Black Pink light sticks, character key rings, hand fans, cameras, tote bags, hats, and T-shirts were sold out early upon the pop-up opening. Accordingly, additional orders are being placed and pre-orders are also being made.

In addition, there are various things to enjoy, such as a photo zone reminiscent of a trailer for the ongoing world tour and a large message month to say hello to the members in handwriting, leading to good responses from fans. Pop-up stores in each city will continue until the 31st.

In addition, a special event was held on the 8th, the 9th anniversary of BLACKPINK's debut. The LED board of the rooftop Ferris wheel of JOY CITY, a Shanghai landmark, was lit in pink, the logo and signature color of Black Pink, making fans happy by embroidering the night sky.

Meanwhile, YG Entertainment is increasing its meetings with local fans by expanding the base of artists such as Black Pink and Treasure in China. At the end of this month, Baby Monster will hold a pop-up event and present various types of events.
