Min Ji-woon held his first EP 'Pink, then gray (Pink, Dan Gray)' showcase at Mcube in Gangnam, Seoul on the 21st and said, `SM made its debut by DMing,' and added, `Crucialize wants to expand SM's music to make a great label.'
Min Ji-woon, the first artist of SM Entertainment Contemporary R&B label KRUCIALIZE, has created his own musical colors through his debut single 'Sentimental Love' (Sentimental Love) in October last year, followed by 'Someone' (Someone) and 'If You Were The Rain (feat. Crush)' (If You Were The Rain).
He then released his first EP album 'Pink, Dan Gray' on the 22nd, drawing attention from the music industry. Above all, it is expected that it is the first artist of SM Entertainment Contemporary R&B label Crucialize.
About his debut background, Min Ji-woon wrote, "Before my debut, I often posted cover songs and self-composed songs on my personal SNS, and they liked it and gave me a DM. At first, I was surprised and embarrassed, but after the actual meeting, I heard about the label vision and told me as the first artist. When he said he wanted to make a cool label by expanding SM music, he explained, "We discussed with each other while sharing the music I wanted to do."
Then "Before I debuted, I worked alone in my room. I used to ask my friends when I was very musically blocked. I think it's different from before our debut that we have good teams now, so we can share our musical concerns."
Standing on the live stage of SM Town's 30th anniversary is a stage I had dreamed of even before my debut. It's like a dream, and at the same time, it doesn't feel real. I'm doing it with the intention of having fun."
He is Crucialize's No. 1 singer, and he loves R&B music very much. I want to dig a little deeper. And I also liked listening to hip hop music. So, I want to do R&B music with hip hop in it," he said.
Also "We are preparing for every stage with a burden and responsibility. Rather than feeling burdened as the first artist in Crucialize, I want to do it with the mindset that I want to enjoy every moment more because it's a grateful opportunity," he added.
Min Ji-woon's first EP album 'Pink, then gray' will be released on August 22 at 1 p.m. on various music sites, and will be released as an album on the same day.
