BLACKPINK’s ‘Pink Venom’ Music Video Surpasses 1 Billion Views on YouTube



The music video of BLACKPINK's 2nd full-length album pre-released song 'Pink Venom' has exceeded 1 billion views on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment on the 4th, Black Pink's music video of 'Pink Venom exceeded 1 billion views on YouTube at around 0:52 a.m. that day. It has been about three years since it was released on August 19, 2022.

As a result, Blackpink has nine videos with a total of more than 1 billion views. Earlier, 'DDU DDU-DU'(2.3 billion views), 'Kill This Love'(2.1 billion views), 'How You Like That' performance video(1.8 billion views), music video(1.3 billion views), 'BOOMBAYA'(1.8 billion views),'As Last'(1.4 billion views), Lisa's solo song 'MONEY'Exclusive performance video(1.1 billion views), and Jennie's solo song 'SOLO'(1 billion views) achieved the same number of views.




Black Pink, which has produced a total of 50 billion views on YouTube so far, is breaking its first and best records every day. Their total cumulative views of the channel have reached more than 39.5 billion times, and the number of channel subscribers has now exceeded 98.2 million. This is the largest number of artists in the world.

The music video for "Pink Venom" is the world record for female artists, achieving 90.4 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release. It then predicted an unusual boom in popularity, with the fastest speed (29 hours and 35 minutes) among K-pop girl groups, surpassing 100 million views and 200 million views in seven and a half days.
