Business Management Corporation will cooperate with Universal Music Publishing on music copyright.

BAM announced on the 9th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Universal Music Publishing.

Through this agreement, the two companies will carry out overall copyright management, including copyright acquisition of domestic and foreign music works, finding, managing, and supporting authors, and collecting usage fees. It also plans to jointly develop a new music business model by utilizing the expertise and network of the two companies.

"With this agreement, we plan to lay the foundation for creators to receive fair compensation and to support them to operate more stably," Biam explained. Universal Music Publishing also emphasized that "the cooperation between the two companies will serve as an opportunity to present a new music business model beyond just managing rights.".
