Lim Jae-beom held a meeting at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul, on the 17th to celebrate the 40th anniversary and said "You're old now."
Im Jae-beom, who debuted in the music industry in 1986 as a Sinawi vocalist, will open his 8th full-length album with a new song 「"Ingreetings" to mark the 40th anniversary of his debut, and prove his status as a legend again through a national tour concert "I'm Im Jae-beom".
About what we've been up to so far "It's been a while, but we're preparing for our eighth album. We're also preparing for our 40th anniversary concert""Starting with Daegu, we will go around each city." I think each city will perform. It's hard because I'm busy, but I'm preparing hard one by one because it's my job. I think I have to work hard to make it in the middle of the performance. He's also filming 'Sing Again'"I recalled my busy recent days.
He also expressed his feelings about celebrating his 40th anniversary. Lim Jae-beom said, `When I started music when I was young, I ran without fear. It started with the illusion that 'you'll be able to do it all'. But as time goes by, everything that makes a sound is scary and scary. I think a lot about whether I'm doing it properly. Those who are starting now, and those who have passed the 10th and 20th years, I think they will all agree with it."
Regarding the 40th anniversary congratulatory message from my colleagues around me, "The most memorable thing is 'You're old now, 'You're broken now', 'You've worked hard" laughed. The difference from the past is that when recording, there was too much confidence before. When you are in the booth of the recording studio, you must be king. There was a time when I overplayed and sang, and I ended the recording because I was satisfied alone. Now, I ask for advice from the people in the recording studio. It's so hard to be satisfied, and I regret it even after recording. I have lingering feelings, and I think my breathing is weird, and I keep looking back."
Lim Jae-beom will release his 8th full-length album pre-release song 'Hi' through various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 17th.
