Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo is sweeping global headlines with his second mini album even while serving in the military.

Cha Eun-woo's second solo mini-album 'ELSE' (ELS), released on the 21st, topped the iTunes top album chart, a global music streaming platform, in 11 countries and regions on the day of its release. Apple Music is also receiving enthusiastic responses by charting six regions: Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Colombia, and Madagascar.

'ELSE' proved Cha Eun-woo's continued global influence, topping iTunes' top albums charts in 11 regions, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Nicaragua, Peru, Qatar, and Taiwan. It then ranked top 5 in nine regions, including Cyprus, Mexico, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, the Netherlands, and Vietnam.

In addition, the title song 'SATURDAY PREACHER' (SADDAY PREACHER) was listed in the Top 5 iTunes Top Songs Chart in 12 regions, including Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, and Singapore. Along with the title song, the songs 'Sweet Papaya' (Sweet Papaya) and 'Selfish' (Selfish) settled on the Worldwide iTunes song chart, realizing Cha Eun-woo's powerful power once again.

In particular, he has been serving in the military as a member of the Army Defense Department's support group since July, drawing attention as he has achieved meaningful results. Cha Eun-woo, who solidified his identity as a solo artist with a high-quality album released in a year and nine months, sparked the buzz by releasing a dance challenge video of the title song 'SATURDAY PREACHER' on his official SNS on the 22nd.

'ELSE' is an album in which Cha Eun-woo showed a wide spectrum through four songs that tried different genres and styles, breaking away from the existing framework. In the title song 'SATURDAY PREACHER', Cha Eun-woo not only solved the disco genre with sophisticated performance and attractive falsetto voice, but also Cha Eun-woo's unconventional concept transformation and fresh vibe, which expressed a dual character in the music video, delivered a thrilling sense of immersion.

Cha Eun-woo will release a performance video of the title song on Fantagio's official YouTube channel at 3:30 p.m. on the 24th, and a music video of the track 'Sweet Papaya' at the same time on the 28th.
