SMArt aims to constantly expand across various music genres, and plans to present fresh and sensual sounds that were not present in the world through differentiated artwork reinterpreting K-pop as a cultural content and optimal production solutions.

Kangta, who opened the first generation of self-recognized K-pop idols, has worked as an in-house creative director as an unregistered director of SM since 2014, as well as as as an executive producer of SMASHIT, one of SM's music publishing subsidiaries, KREATION MUSIC RIGHTS (KMR), and has launched a new music label SMARt to steadily expand its capabilities as a producer beyond musicians.
Meanwhile, Kangta has been sincere in music for 30 years, participating in various artist songs as an executive producer, while also focusing on supporting them by discovering and nurturing new artists.
