Cameroonian Monster Leaps Top in Road Corporation with 45 Points Big Bomb, Beat GS and Runs for 3 consecutive wins

The Korea Expressway Corporation has won three consecutive games, pushing GS Caltex to the top.

The Korea Expressway Corporation barely beat GS Caltex by a set score of 3-2 (25-22, 22-25, 25-23, 18-25, 16-14) in the first round match held at Jangchung Gymnasium on the 1st. Korea Expressway Corporation rose to first place with 3 wins and 1 loss and 8 points in the season, while GS Caltex dropped one spot to second place with 2 wins and 2 losses and 7 points.

The road corporation, Cameroon-born monster Apogit Spiker Moma, launched a 45-point onslaught, including three blocks and one serve. It was a new record for most points scored in an individual game. Tanacha added 18 points and Kang So-hwi added 10 points.

GS Caltex's foreign main gun Silva scored 37 points, including three blocks, three serves and 13 rear-end attacks, but was pushed back by Moma's runaway. Outside heater Raina also worked hard with 24 points in the Asian quarter.

The match drew great attention as the top-ranked GS Caltex and the second-ranked Korea Expressway Corporation faced off each other. As the first and second-place teams compete, it was a close game in each set.

The first set was up to the roadworks. Moma scored 9 points and Silva scored 8 points, breaking the balance with Tanacha and Kang So-hwi.
