 K-girl power is powerful...ROSE TWICE, Billboard's 3rd and 4th place

Blackpink Rosé and Twice saved K-pop's pride.

According to the U.S. music media Billboard, Rosé and Twice ranked third and fourth respectively on Billboard's main album chart, Billboard 200.

Rosé entered third place on 'Billboards 200' with her first regular album 'Rogue'. 'Rosey' recorded 102,000 album units. Album sales totaled 70,000 copies, SEA 31,000 copies and TEA 1,000 copies.

This is the highest record for a K-pop female artist.

Rosé made her debut at No. 8 on the Billboard main song chart, Hot 100, and occupied the Billboard 200, writing the record of being the first and only K-pop female artist to enter the Billboard's two main charts in single digits.

Twice ranked fourth with the new report 'Strategy'Billboards 200'.

'Strategy' recorded a total of 88,000 album units. Album sales totaled 81,000, SEA 6,500, and TEA 500.

With this, TWICE has placed six albums in the top 10 on the Billboard 200' list, including their 10th mini album 'Taste of Love'(6th place), their 3rd studio album 'Formula of Love: O+T=<3'(3rd place), their 11th mini album 'Beatwin One & Two'(3rd place), their 12th mini album 'Ready to Be'(2nd place), their 13th mini album 'With You-S(1st place) in February this year, and their 'Strategy'. This is the highest record for a K-pop girl group.

The ranking of album consumption is calculated by adding the number of traditional album sales such as real albums, the number of streams converted into album sales (SEA), and the number of digital sound source downloads into album sales (TEA). If 'Hot100' is a chart that can look at popular song preferences, 'Build 200' can also be seen as an indicator of fandom firepower. For this reason, boy groups such as BTS, Seventeen, and Stray Kids have been strong in the chart for generations. However, as Rosé and Twice began to stand out on this chart, it became an opportunity to prove the K-girl group's changed status.
