He said "I don't have the power to argue about this. The loss of a daughter is painful enough. Please don't spread ridiculous rumors (that you went to war with Wang So-bi for six days on a video call)." Wang So-bi can take whatever she wants. All I want is my daughter."

When Seo Hee-won died, the parental rights of the two children were handed over to Wang So-bi in accordance with the Taiwan Act. As a result, there were concerns that Wang So-bi could control two-thirds of Seo Hee-won's 10 billion won legacy, and Koo Joon-yeop said he would hand over his right to the inheritance to his mother-in-law and take legal measures to prevent bad people from accessing children's rights and property.

According to local media, Hwang Chun-mae's remarks appear to mean handing over custody of the two grandchildren to Wang So-bi. The will to end the inheritance dispute with Wang So-bi.

Koo Joon-yeop and Seo Hee-won broke up in 1998 after dating for about a year. Since then, Seo Hee-won married Wang So-bi in 2011 and had two children, but divorced in 2021. When Koo Joon-yeop got in touch with him again after hearing the news, the two succeeded in reuniting and married in 2022. However, Seo Hee-won died of acute pneumonia during a trip to Japan on Feb. 2.

The bereaved family carried the deceased's remains to Taiwan for a farewell ceremony. The deceased reportedly hoped for an arboretum while he was alive, but Koo Joon-yeop and his bereaved family decided to provide an independent mourning space instead of the arboretum and postponed the funeral. However, neighbors have protested after it was revealed that the remains of the deceased have been stored at home for a month.

At the same time, concerns about Koo Joon-yeop's condition are growing. According to his aides, Koo Jun-yeop can't hold back his tears when he talks about Seo Hee-won. My eyes are so swollen that it is difficult to treat, and I have lost about 6kg of weight because it is hard to eat.
