Lee Young-ae, who starred in the drama, said at her first reading, "Hedda Gabler" seems to be a piece that approaches like fate. I thought a lot about it because it was my first theater stage in 32 years, but I thought that it should not be now"I've done a lot of good works such as dramas and movies, but I've always been thirsty as an actor, but now that I'm in my 50s, I think the character who can express various emotions as an actress is 'heda'. I'm afraid, but I just think I should work hard," he said, expressing his ambition to participate in the work.
In this work, Lee Young-ae, who plays the main character Hedda, will express a character who is elegant on the outside but has hidden anxiety, desire, and destructive nature inside in strong and three-dimensional ways.

Ibsen's original 'heda Gabler' is a work dealing with the psychology of a woman who yearns for freedom amid social constraints and oppression. Due to the complex psychology and unpredictable development of humans, various interpretations and debates have been brought about on many stages around the world. In particular, this work will be more sympathetic to contemporary audiences by using the adaptation of Richard Year, who won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Revival with a modern adaptation of 'Heda Gabler'.

Meanwhile, 'Heda Gabler' will be performed at LG Art Center Seoul and LG SIGNATURE Hall from May 7 to June 8.
