In November last year, the first trial sentenced Kim Ho-joong to two and a half years in prison on charges of dangerous driving injuries, escape injuries, and inaction after accidents under the Road Traffic Act. Representative Lee and the former head of the headquarters were sentenced to two years in prison and one and a half years in prison, respectively, and manager Jang was sentenced to one year in prison and two years of probation.
Kim Ho-joong appealed immediately after the first trial, and the first trial date of the appeal trial was held last month.
Kim Ho-joong admitted to driving under the influence, but strongly denied allegations that he used the 'drunker' method.
Kim Ho-joong's lawyer said, `I already knew that the manager would turn himself in instead, and I didn't know that I would go to the police and take a breathalyzer test. If I was in my thirties with a strong physique and tried to drink alcohol, I would have drunk a strong liquor, not a canned beer with low alcohol content. "It is different from the usual "Drinking", and the related investigation was not conducted properly."," he stressed.
The second trial of the appeals court against Kim Ho-joong will take place on the 19th of this month.
