SM C&C appoints new CEO Park Tae-hyun...30 years of meritorious leadership recognition

Through a board meeting scheduled for the 25th, SM C&C plans to appoint Park Tae-hyun, head of its management division, as its new representative.
SM C&C is an affiliate of SM Entertainment, a comprehensive entertainment group, and a K-Culture cultural content comprehensive company, and operates four major business areas: management, advertising, content, and travel.
Nominee Park Tae-hyun has been in the entertainment field for about 30 years since 1997, and has been in charge of management at SM C&C from 2012 to the present, and is currently the head of the management department and the director of SM Entertainment's broadcast media.
In particular, nominee Park Tae-hyun has grown the SMC&C management division to the highest level in Korea, and has been appointed as a new representative in recognition of his high understanding of the company as a whole and wide range of leadership regardless of the sector.
Park Tae-hyun, the new CEO-designate, said, `Based on the management know-how we have accumulated so far, we will try to create synergy as well as growth in each sector, such as the advertising business, the content business, and the travel business.'
