8 billion CEO Hyun Young explains controversy over reselling luxury free gifts and introduction fee for genuine purchase agency (SC Issue)

Broadcaster Hyun-young is embroiled in a controversy over reselling luxury brand free gifts.

Hyun-young recently announced on social media that it will sell free gifts that can be received if you purchase more than 170,000 won of beauty products from luxury brand D.

He said "At Korean department stores, only pouch is given for purchases of 170,000 won or more, and it is currently out of stock. I can sell it for 85,000 won. There is also a QR code and it is genuine." It also includes miniature products, he explained "Composition equivalent to freebies provided to customers who purchase a total of 650,000 won."

Netizens pointed out that it is illegal to sell free gifts at a premium.

As the controversy intensified, Hyun-young posted on her account on the 22nd, "I will announce some things about Company D's products that I introduced in March." In order to introduce the products that customers can prefer, we introduced the event after receiving a purchase agency introduction fee through an official purchasing agency.

Hyun Young drew attention in the second half of 2019 by saying that sales of his shopping mall exceeded 8 billion won. Last year, he was suspected of colluding with A, who stole 17.1 billion won, saying he would guarantee members of Mom Cafe financial technology and high-yield interest. However, Hyun-young refuted that he had invested 500 million won by believing that he would pay 7% interest for six months and did not get back 350 million won, saying that Hyun-young was just a victim of fraud by A.

Hyun-young married a financial man four years older in 2012 and has two children. The two children are attending an international school with a total tuition fee of about 600 million won per person.
