Kang Joo-eun "I met my husband after that, and he told me I was beautiful. 'How can I say I'm beautiful? I'm different from the standard of Korean beauty?I thought ', but my husband loved that I was fat. Thank you for thinking that way," he said, thanking Choi Min-soo.

Meanwhile, Kang married actor Choi Min-soo in 1994 and had two sons.
