On the 16th, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Affairs Department 50 (senior chief judge Kim Sang-hoon) rejected an injunction filed by five New Jeans members.
In response, Sejong Law Firm, the legal representative of the members of the New Jeans, "Today, the Court of Decision of the Provisional Disposition Court made a decision to approve the original decision and immediately filed an appeal." he said.
After declaring that the exclusive contract with Odor was terminated in November last year, Newzins changed the team name to 'NJZ' and announced that it would start its own journey.
In response, Adore filed a lawsuit against the members to apply for an injunction against the preservation of the agency's status and the conclusion of an advertising contract, and to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract.
The court cited all the applications for provisional injunction filed by Adore on the 21st of last month. Newzins presented as many as 11 items, including the absence of production due to the dismissal of former CEO Min Hee-jin, as the basis for the termination of the exclusive contract, but the court did not accept all of them. It was difficult to say that the trust relationship was solid as Adore fulfilled its important obligations, including the obligation to settle.
