In SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 『Treasure Island" (written by Lee Myung-hee and directed by Jin Chang-gyu), Hong Hwa-yeon appeared as Yeo Eun-nam, the granddaughter of Daesan Group, and gave off weight as a pivotal character who coordinated the tension of the play until the end. Crossing between cold reason and warm emotions, she completed a complex character named Yeo Eun-nam realistically.
In particular, the line thrown at Dong-ju (Park Hyung-sik) at the end of the show created a momentary frozen atmosphere.
