Earlier, Park Ji-yeon revealed the reason for preparing a sincere meal and lunch box for her husband last year. He said "It's already been 17 years since I heard about my husband's childhood home-cooked meals at the beginning of my marriage, and I promised to make home-cooked meals and cooked with poor skills."

Meanwhile, Park Ji-yeon married Lee Soo-geun, who is 12 years older, in 2008 and has two sons. Park Ji-yeon had a kidney transplant due to pregnancy poisoning during her second pregnancy in 2011, and the transplanted kidney was also damaged and has been undergoing dialysis treatment so far.
