Choi Min-hwan, cleared of prostitution, confirmed to return to Korea...FT Island Joins August Performance
Band FT Island will hold a solo concert in August. In particular, Choi Min-hwan will join this performance.

FT Island will hold 2025 FTISLAND LIVE"MAD HAPPY" (2025 FT Island Live" at SOL Travel Hall in Blue Square, Seoul, from August 23 to 24 and meet with fans.

'MAD HAPPY' is an intuitive and honest expression of the feeling of being 'crazy happy', meaning that the moment of enjoying with the audience on stage is the moment when FT Island feels the most truly happy.

The poster released at the same time attracts attention with the smile logo made under the group name FTISLAND. In addition, yellow was used as the main color, creating an intense and energetic atmosphere, raising expectations for this performance.

FT Island, which met domestic fans for the first time in about a year since 2024 FTISLAND LIVE"PULSE" (2024 FT Island Live"), held in June last year, will capture the audience with its unrivaled singing ability and seasoned stage manners.

In this regard, the FT Island official website also announced the performance of 'MAD HAPPY'. The agency plans to participate in 'Lee Hong-ki, Lee Jae-jin, Choi Min-hwan's performance, so please refer to it when booking" he said.

Meanwhile, tickets for the FT Island 'MAD HAPPY' can be booked through NOL tickets. Advance reservations will be made for Weverse membership subscribers from 8 p.m. on July 3, and general reservations will be made from 8 p.m. on July 9.

Earlier in October last year, Choi Min-hwan suspended his activities due to the revelation of Yul-hee, who was from La Boom, his ex-wife. Yulhee released the transcript claiming that Choi Min-hwan entered an entertainment establishment during his marriage and molested him in front of his parents-in-law. The released transcript contained a conversation between Choi Min-hwan and an official at an entertainment establishment, which was controversial as circumstantial evidence suspected of prostitution.

In response, netizens accused Choi Min-hwan of prostitution and forced harassment. However, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul ruled in February that it was not guilty of violating the Sex Trafficking Punishment Act and allegations of forced harassment due to insufficient evidence.

Since then, Choi Min-hwan has issued a statement saying he is sorry for the members and fans, and resumed his overseas activities starting with a Japanese performance in March.
